Finally a gyros snack in Chemnitz! I've been a big gyros fan since my youth in southern Germany, when we had a gyros stand at the end of the street. Various holidays in Greece have reinforced that and my affection for the Greek way of life. Over the years, unfortunately, the unspeakable kebab has established itself as a snack almost everywhere (why?), Often more breadcrumbs than meat on a skewer and mostly sticky. As a pork eater, minced meat from slaughterhouse waste (kebab "meat") is not for me anyway. Now my special has shown me Spiros' Bistro and my gyros consumption will probably increase dramatically in the next few weeks and months. Incidentally, the tzatziki is also authentically Greek. Not as lax as the stuff from the supermarket with the homeopathic garlic content. The ouzo varieties that are offered here, pilavas and mini, are also very praiseworthy. The top ouzos are definitely a much better choice than the supposedly best-selling ouzo (plomari), which I personally don't like. Of course, there is also Mythos beer, even on tap, where Fix would of course be nicer, or Karma beer from Nemea, that would be awesome.

Very friendly little bistro with indoor and outdoor seating. In contrast to other restaurants in Chemnitz, the prices are very affordable and the portions are always very large. As a side dish you can choose between rice, french fries and pita. All in all, we love coming here!

Delicious snack in the city center. Addendum: Yesterday we ordered several dishes to take with us on the question of whether we may also have the sauces separately was answered to us very badly that it is not and it can not be done not even in the near future. French fries the pita did not taste really good. The shop is unfortunately through.

Clean deliciously cool

Better visit only at peak times, or bring enough time. The grill is sometimes like emptied even if the meat is not quite cooked and warm. Everything tastes good and the waitress has good tips.
